CountDays

Terms of Use

Effective 23 August 2026 · Last updated 23 August 2026

These terms cover your use of the CountDays app and the CountDays+ subscription. Using the app means you accept them.

1. The app

CountDays is published by Zenski ("we", "us"). We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, in line with the App Store and Google Play terms that also apply to your download.

The app, its designs, artwork, text and code remain ours. You may not copy, resell, decompile or redistribute it, except where the law says you may regardless of what this document claims.

2. Your content is yours

Your countdowns, notes and photos belong to you. We claim no rights over them. They stay on your device unless you sign in for sync or export them yourself — see the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for what you put into the app, and for keeping your own backups. The app can export a complete backup at any time, on every tier, including the free one.

3. CountDays Free

The free version is a complete countdown app, not a trial. It includes unlimited-in-practice countdowns and since-counters, birthdays, anniversaries, the calendar, reminders, widgets, themes, sharing, and full local backup and export. Some counts are capped and some designs are reserved for CountDays+; the current limits are shown in the app.

4. CountDays+

CountDays+ unlocks premium widgets, photo widgets and backgrounds, extra themes and gradients, advanced reminders, cloud backup and sync, premium share cards and advanced insights.

Plans and billing

Auto-renewal, in plain terms. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before that period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends, at the price shown when you subscribed.

Prices

Prices are set per country by the App Store and Google Play, and the price you see in the app is the one they will charge, in your own currency and including any tax they collect. We do not display or process prices ourselves. If a price changes, the store will tell you and ask you to agree before the next renewal.

Managing and cancelling

Payment is taken by Apple or Google, not by us — we never see your card details. You manage or cancel a subscription in your store account:

Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not shorten the period you have already paid for.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by whichever store took the payment, under their policy, not by us. Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com. Google: the Play Store order history. Where your local consumer law gives you a right to withdraw or a refund, that right applies regardless of this section.

If a subscription ends

Nothing you made is deleted, ever. Your countdowns, reminders, photos and exports stay exactly as they are. Premium-only editing becomes unavailable and cloud sync stops, but the app keeps working and your data keeps being yours.

Restoring a purchase

Reinstalled the app, or set up a new device? Use Restore purchase on the CountDays+ screen or in Settings. Purchases are tied to the store account that made them, so a purchase on Google Play cannot be restored on iOS, or the other way round.

5. Optional account and sync

An account is optional. If you create one to use cloud sync, keep your Apple or Google credentials secure — anyone with them can reach your synced countdowns. You may delete the account from within the app at any time.

We may suspend an account that is being used to attack the service, to store material that is illegal, or to abuse our infrastructure. We will tell you if we do, unless the law prevents it.

6. Reminders are best-effort

Reminders are delivered by your operating system, and iOS and Android may delay, batch or suppress them — for battery saving, Focus modes, Doze, or if notification permission is off. Do not rely on CountDays alone for anything critical, such as a medical appointment, a legal deadline or a visa expiry. The app is a helpful reminder, not a guarantee.

7. No warranty

The app is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost data, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect, and the date at the top will change. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms. If you do not, you can stop using the app and cancel any subscription.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, and the courts of Nepal have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring proceedings there.
